May 15, 2013 – Reston, VA – Govplace, a leading value-added reseller and solution provider for the public sector announced today that it has raised more than $37,000 at their 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held on May 3. The funds will benefit The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health, a facility on the campus of the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland.
The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “place like home” for sick children and their families. Children come from across the country and around the world to stay together with their family in The Inn’s healing environment while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world’s leading biomedical research center. While the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit.
Govplace was joined at the golf tournament by many sponsors and volunteers from a variety of companies including EMC, Isilon, VMWare, Dell, Quest Software, the Immix Group, Ingram Micro, McAfee/Intel, Core Security, Access Data, Tech Data, Battle Resource Management, Inc.
