June 11, 2014 – Reston, VA – Govplace, a leading value-added reseller and solution provider for the federal information technology (IT) market, announced today that its 7th Annual Federal IT Golf Tournament, held on May 2, raised $60,082; a significant increase over last year’s previous record amount of $37,000. The sold out event brought together federal government and IT executives to raise funds for The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the world’s leading biomedical research center located on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
