MethodologyAssessment is the first phase of the Govplace methodology. Assessment includes the following steps and actions.

Define objectives

  • Joint planning session to identify requirements and outline desired outcomes
  • Confirm measurement criteria that define success for the implementation
  • With goals defined, actions are directed toward identified objectives
      
    • Ensures efficient design and implementation methodology 
    • Enables process to maintain alignment with time and budget

Gather information

  • Govplace has experience to gather pertinent information quickly and accurately
  • Experience brings the ability to safely gather the correct information
  • Information collection processes consist of:
     
    • Data calls
    • Interviews
    • Monitoring
    • Cost/ performance analysis
  • These collection methods ensure accuracy of information and provide foundation for effective decisions throughout the implementation process

Report findings

  • Confirm information back to you in the form of a report
  • Acceptance and validation of information and findings to ensure agreement on drivers and direction to achieve project objectives
  • Deliverable provides roadmap that is used to ensure project stays on course and on budget
  • Provides summary of identified potential risks and associated risk mitigation strategies
