Design and Architecture
Design and Architecture is the second phase of the Govplace methodology. Design and Architecture includes the following steps and actions.
Build
- Conceptual model of solution is developed with clearly identified link between project goals and solution components
- Simplifies business case considerations for investments and ensures right-sizing of the technical solution up front
- Customized COTS solutions provide the benefit of proven technology and alignment with standards with a cost efficient implementation option to address core business needs
- Our highly experienced professional services engineers will design a solution to fit your exact needs
Review
- Using your objective definition, Govplace will review the design with your engineers for accuracy and completion
- Acceptance criteria include complete component by component review of the solution as measured against the defined success criteria and project requirements/restrictions
- Thorough evaluation of the identified risks and risk mitigation strategies
Revise
- The review / revise process is repeated until we have a deployment plan that fits your needs
- Our methodology requires that each element of the solution is examined to the component level to ensure alignment with standards and objectives
Signoff
- One last review of, all parties’, expectations before signoff ensures a successful implementation
- Signoff on the design provides a detailed blueprint and project plan for implementation
- Management against implementation timelines, solution functionality and delivery milestones becomes simple by measuring against expected outcomes
- Shortfalls are readily apparent
Over-delivery relative to expectations can likewise be identified
