Adam Robinson
Adam RobinsonChief Executive Officer

Adam founded Govplace in 1995, shortly before graduating from UC Santa Barbara, as a way to combine his passions for technology innovation, business model optimization, team building and customer intimacy. Under his leadership, the company has:

  • Built over $1B in successful, transformational technology solutions, helping government agencies leverage technology to deliver mission and business success to their internal and external constituents.
  • Created a business model with unique, complementary and competitively differentiated capabilities.
  • Pulled together a collaborative, high-performing team, sharing core values and diverse opinions to create a dynamic, creative environment.
  • Developed a deep understanding of the technology, regulatory, cultural and business needs of the federal government.

Adam is involved in multiple government-industry collaboration consortiums as well as several philanthropic organizations including ACT-IAC, AFCEA, the Children’s Inn at NIH and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Adam’s degree is in Economics. He lives in Ashburn Va with his wife and two sons and can be found on weekends skiing, sailing and traveling with friends and family.

Majed Saadi
Majed SaadiChief Technology Officer

Majed Saadi joined Govplace in early 2016 to serve as the Chief Technology Officer. He is tasked with codifying Govplace’s capabilities and offerings as well as supporting technical innovation across the enterprise. Previous to his current role, Majed served as the Chief Technology Officer for the Civilian Agencies Business Area at SRA International. This encompassed Federal agencies with missions focused on diplomacy, energy, financials, transportation as well as other civilian centric missions. During his time at SRA he also served as the Director of the Cloud Computing Practice. His cloud practice developed offerings in service areas ranging from Cloud Strategy Development to Cloud Management. He additionally participated in the creation of award winning go-to-market offerings AcuITy® for IT Decision Making Enablement and Stratify® for Cloud Security.  

Majed has held progressively senior positions as a thought leader for other Federal Systems Integrators such as QinetiQ North America and 3H Technology. He regularly speaks at industry leading conferences and symposiums about topics ranging from using IT in public health to Cloud Computing’s impact on modern organizations.  

Majed has over 18 years of experience in IT Strategy Development, Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Systems Management. He holds a Master’s degree in IT Management from the University of Virginia as well as several industry certifications including TOGAF 9, ITIL, ISO 20000, and Management of Risk (MoR). 

Joe Corcoran
Joe CorcoranVice President of Service Delivery

Joe Corcoran joined Govplace in June of 2009 and was named Vice President of Service Delivery in January of 2016. In his current role, Mr. Corcoran is responsible for the planning, performance, and management of Govplace’s entire service delivery portfolio. Govplace’s rapidly growing multi-million dollar services portfolio includes a wide variety of mission critical IT solutions and professional services focused around Federal clients. Mr. Corcoran specializes in developing a shared vision for success with clients, providing proactive performance management, and driving repeatable process-oriented approaches to service delivery.

Prior to becoming VP of Service Delivery, Mr. Corcoran served as the Director of NIH Operations for Govplace, successfully capturing and operating over $100M in new service delivery contracts with the National Institutes of Health and other clients. He also had the title of Director of Strategic Program Development, where he architected Govplace’s strategy for expanding its client base and IT services portfolio by capturing and operating new contract vehicles (IDIQ’s, GWACs, BPA’s). Mr. Corcoran was also responsible for the formation of Govplace’s highly successful Hygeia Solutions Partners Joint Venture.

Mr. Corcoran came to Govplace from IntelliDyne, a successful IT Services consulting firm where he successfully captured over $150 million in IT services business in support of DOJ, DHS, and DOD clients.

Mr. Corcoran has been the recipient of multiple awards throughout his career, including the prestigious 2012 Rising Star Award for his record breaking fundraising work on behalf of the Children’s Inn at NIH, the National Institutes of Health DPSM Highest Honor Service Award in 2014 for his mission critical work supporting NIH Security, and the 2014 Govplace Rock Star of the Year Award (employee of the year).

Mr. Corcoran graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminology and a minor in Public Relations. He currently resides in Leesburg, VA with his wife and their two children.

Holly Aglio
Holly AglioDirector of Finance and Accounting

In September 2017, Holly was named Govplace’s Director of Finance and Accounting, having previously served as the Company’s Corporate Controller for over three years.  In this position, Holly is responsible for the financial stewardship of the Company, guiding the accounting, finance, treasury, tax, and risk functions to pursue the Company’s growth strategy.  She is committed to serving as a strategic partner and advisor, managing financial risks and maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.

Holly has dedicated her entire career to finance and accounting.  After graduating from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Holly spent the first 12 years of her career as an auditor for the public accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  She left PwC as a Senior Manager, having audited both private and public clients out of the firm’s San Francisco, Sacramento, and Tysons Corner offices.  Holly’s post-audit career lead her to the Washington, DC area, where she held a variety of management positions responsible for leading the accounting departments of several government contractors in the technology sector.  These positions provided a platform for Holly to solidify her foundational skills in finance, allowing her to focus on improving internal controls, developing efficiencies in systems and procedures, and implementing corporate indirect rate structures.  Throughout her nearly 20-year career in auditing, accounting and financial analysis, Holly has established a reputation for building excellent teams and for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy.

Holly is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Steve Hoffman
Steve HoffmanVice President of Sales

Steve brings over 28 years of extensive technology sales experience to Govplace. He has a strong track record of building organizations for sustained growth and an extensive background in vertical markets including: finance, healthcare, DHS and civilian.

“I am excited to join Govplace and work with our partners and customers to deliver mission critical technology solutions for Cloud, Cyber Security and IT Automation,” said Steve. In addition to the creation and execution of Govplace’s go-to-market sales strategy, Steve will serve on the company’s executive team and report to Govplace Chief Executive Officer, Adam Robinson.

“I am delighted to have Steve join the Govplace team,” said Robinson. “He is high energy, strategic, ethical leader who brings a wealth of market knowledge and skills to complement our existing high-performance sales team and support our continued company growth.”

Prior to joining Govplace, Steve was the Area Vice President for Micro Focus Government Solutions and Palo Alto Networks, helping to grow and expand their federal business. While at Micro Focus he was responsible for building and leading a Federal sales organization for the cybersecurity product line. Prior to that, Steve served as the Vice President of Cisco Systems Civilian and Homeland Security business practice and was responsible for the sales, engineering, and support professionals delivering technology solutions to Civilian Agencies.
