Master Scheduler
Position Overview:
Overall responsibilities include supporting the Program Manager (PM), Earned Value Management (EVM) Team and the Control Account Managers (CAM) in establishing a Performance Measurement Schedule Baseline while maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with Program Change Management requirements. Work closely with the EV Tools SME to align the IMS with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS), analyze and resolve any IMS coding errors. Comprehensive knowledge of scheduling techniques and Microsoft Project maintenance and reporting is required. Knowledge of resource loading and critical path methodology and analysis is preferred. This position is based in Reston, VA.
Position Responsibilities:

Gather status updates daily and generate weekly and monthly Integrated Master Schedules.
Monitor schedule performance against plan and works with Control Account Managers to obtain additional status updates on daily status calls.
Work with EVM SME to generate monthly IMS CDRL and weekly statused IMS with the latest approved Performance Measurement Schedule Baseline for submittal to the customer.
Provide assistance to the Program Manager and Control Account Managers in development of Control Account schedules for all Program discrete work scope.
Provide recommendations to Program Managers and CAMS based on experience and knowledge of industry best practices.
Maintain IMS Field Roadmap and ensures all approved discrete work scope is incorporated into IMS with applicable fields populated. Work with CAMs, PM and EVM Tools SME and EVM SME as required to ensure fields are populated accurately.
Support the Program Manager, CAMs and EVM Team in the areas of change management and project progress reporting.
Support development of all Performance Measurement Schedule Baselines associated with new Task Orders as applicable.
Ensure compliance with internal schedule management procedures and government regulations/reporting requirements.

US Citizenship
Ability to pass a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) and other personnel security requirements to be granted Entry-On-Duty (EOD) status with various US Government customers for work on Govplace Projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or related field) and at least 2 years of recent experience in supporting government program/project management ANSI 748 compliance requirements or at least 5 years of equivalent training and experience.
IMS CDRL development experience preferred.
Extensive experience with various scheduling software tools such as Microsoft Project 2003 or Microsoft Project Server.
Experience in conducting comprehensive schedule analysis including critical path analysis, out of sequence analysis and ability to generate comprehensive reports to support Project Team review of status and analysis.
Demonstrated ability to effectively participate and provide timely decisions and assessments in planning meetings and communicate IMS issues to project team members. Ability to work with project team members one-on-one to resolve any outstanding schedule status update or change management issues for timely resolution.
