Methodology
A methodology is defined as a repeatable process for problem solving. An effective methodology ensures that no details are missed and a project’s goals and objectives are met.
Govplace has developed and improved our methodologies through years of public sector engagements to ensure that our customer's goals and objectives are met and exceeded. Our methodologies are continually refined based on lessons learned from current projects and repeatable performance from past projects.
Govplace’s Project Management Methodology is based on Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices and is heavily aligned with operational frameworks such as ITIL. Our solution delivery methodology is flexible enough to leverage agency-specific system development lifecycles while employing the most appropriate engineering methodologies.
The Govplace Outcomes-Driven Methodology leverages the best principles of performance-based acquisition - namely a focus on customer-desired outcome or results - to develop solutions that meet the goals and objectives of our customers.
The Govplace Implementation Methodology guides projects through the following four project phases:
- Assessment
- Project Planning
- Requirements Development
- Design
- Traceability to Requirements
- Pilot Development & Testing
- Deployment
- Integration & Testing
- Management
- Operations and Maintenance
- Ongoing System Development
