Cloud Summit – The Roadmap to Transformation

On August 10th, at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, D.C., seasoned government experts will provide federal IT leaders with insights into how they can build and extend their existing investments in the cloud to transform IT operations and how those operations support the mission of their agencies.

Govplace CTO, Majed Saadi, will give the opening remarks for the afternoon keynote speaker, Robert Bohn, Cloud Computing Program Manager in the Advanced Networking Technologies Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The session, Getting the Fix on SLAs, will cover a NIST effort to leverage a forthcoming ISO standard to create a government-wide base model for SLAs that can be tailored to meet the needs of individual agencies.
