Simone Feldman

Chief Executive Officer

Simone brings over 17 years of executive leadership experience, with extensive knowledge of Federal Contracting and Procurement and developing long-term strategies, aimed towards the success of teams that outperform expectations.

Simone was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women of the Channel in 2018. In 2021, she was invited to join Chief, the only private women’s executive organization focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders. Known for leading with passion, integrity, commitment and energy, her strongest belief is that the role of a leader is a privilege to be earned. Her personal interests remain helping other women develop their careers as leaders in Federal IT, spending time with her family and playing tennis.

Pat Farr

Chief Financial Officer

Pat Farr joined Govplace in May of 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer. Farr joins Govplace as a leader in financial management for over 20 years, excelling in leading and developing first class financial teams and processes.

About Pat

Pat begun his career leading audit and consulting engagements for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the financial services and federal government industries. He later managed consulting engagements for large financial services organizations to comply with internal control standards over financial reporting. Pat was able to adeptly understand internal control processes and assist in the implementation of meaningful process improvements for well-established financial organizations. Pat’s expertise in financial management brought him to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), where he led the organization’s effort to comply with their own internal control standards. Pat success led him to take on many additional leadership roles at the PCAOB including roles financial reporting, budgeting, procurement, and system implementations.

Pat was able to leverage his experience at PCAOB to transition into the government contracting industry, where he has truly found his passion. At Force 3 (later Sirius Federal), Pat was able to build the accounting team and processes so that they were able to successfully run a process to sell the business to a strategic organization, then a private equity firm and subsequently to a large public company. Pat also led the team that governed the ERP implementation and successfully developed the accounting processes into a government-approved accounting system. Not only did Pat lead a strong financial organization, but he was also able to gain a deep, broad understanding of federal contracting principles and practices. Pat led the organizations Contracts, Proposals, Program Management, Sales Operations and Warehouse functions where he was able to build highly effective teams and apply his understanding of processes.

Dan Reed

Executive Vice President of Strategy

His career spans roles as a Soldier, defense contractor, federal employee, technology consultant, and executive leader—each contributing to a dynamic perspective and a proven ability to build strong relationships across the industry.

At Govplace, Dan leads the engineering, partner alliances, and marketing departments—aligning cross-functional teams to execute a unified, technology-focused go-to-market strategy. His forward-thinking mindset and deep understanding of business strategy empower him to drive innovation, accelerate customer success, and grow market share through impactful partnerships and targeted solutions.

Dan’s unique background enables him to engage effectively with customers and OEMs at all levels, fostering technology adoption and expanding strategic collaborations that deliver measurable outcomes.

Outside of work, Dan finds joy in spending time with his wife and children, often seeking out new adventures with his family. He is also a lifelong learner, continuously pursuing growth, and excellence in all areas of life.

Josh Weiner

Executive Vice President of Sales

With over 25 years of experience in federal IT sales, Josh builds high-performance teams and delivers results.

Josh Weiner serves as the Executive Vice President of Sales at Govplace, where he leads the company’s sales strategy and drives growth across the U.S. Public Sector. With over 25 years of experience in federal IT sales, Josh is known for building high-performance teams and delivering results through strategic customer engagement and strong OEM partnerships.

Prior to joining Govplace, Josh held senior leadership roles at Force 3, Sirius Federal, and CDW, where he consistently helped scale federal business units and navigate evolving government priorities. His deep understanding of the federal landscape, combined with a passion for mentorship and innovation, makes him a key driver of Govplace’s continued success.

Josh is based in the Washington, D.C. area and is committed to advancing Govplace’s mission of delivering secure, scalable, and modern IT solutions to government agencies.

Ronnie Vliet

Senior Vice President of Technology

Ronnie Vliet joined Govplace in March of 2021 as the Vice President of Technology. In this role, Mr. Vliet will also be providing technical leadership that will continue to refine the Govplace go-to-market strategy.

About Ronnie

Ronnie Vliet joined Govplace in March of 2021 as the Vice President of Technology. He is responsible for leading our Service Delivery and Sales Engineering teams to architect and deliver solutions that enable federal government mission success. In this role, Mr. Vliet will also be providing technical leadership that will continue to refine the Govplace go-to-market strategy.

Prior to joining Govplace, Mr. Vliet served as the Senior Director of Service Delivery at Force 3 where he was responsible for the planning, performance, and management of their entire service delivery portfolio. Mr. Vliet was instrumental in launching a successful support offering that provided OEM level services to government agencies with a focus on customer intimacy and success that helped to achieve differentiation in the marketspace. Mr. Vliet was also successful in leading short-term consulting engagements and long-term residency services programs.

In addition, Mr. Vliet brings 10 years of experience in the Managed Services space where he provided executive-level leadership driving vision and direction of service delivery through development of operational metrics, project management, and continuous service improvement to enhance organizational effectiveness and achieve business growth.

Erin Boensch

Vice President of Operations and Applications

Erin brings to Govplace over 20 years of technology and process experience in the federal and commercial IT space, with a proven record of efficiency gains.

About Erin

Erin has held senior leadership positions with large and small technology companies in both the federal and commercial space, including Force 3, Sirius Computer Solutions and CDW. She has led multiple enterprise system implementations, including Salesforce CRM, Contract Management, CPQ, PSA and ERP applications. Her unique ability to apply systems thinking to achieve desired business outcomes has led to successful business transformations at both Force 3 and Sirius.

“I have a true passion for helping co-workers become more productive and fulfilled in their jobs. This leads to a more engaged workforce and ultimately, a happier customer. I believe working for a smaller organization will allow me to have a significant and positive impact on the lives of my co-workers and our customers,” said Erin on joining Govplace.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She is passionate about self-care, fitness and helping others. She has been CrossFitting and Weightlifting for over 10 years and is active in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she leads a team annually for the Great Strides Walk in Annapolis, MD.
