CDM Task Order to Enhance Civilian Agencies
Govplace, in partnership with Knowledge Consulting Group, Awarded $85M CDM Task Order to Enhance Civilian Agencies’ Ability to Manage Privileged Users Access
Reston, Va., November 1, 2016 – – Govplace, a leading solution provider for the public sector, in partnership with Knowledge Consulting Group, has been awarded a task order by the General Services Administration Federal Systems Integration and Systems Management Center (FEDSIM) on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program to enhance the security posture of federal civilian agencies.
The Privileged Management (PRIVMGMT) task order was valued at $85 million with a period of performance of two years. It provides a unique opportunity to implement advanced tools to strengthen the management of privileged access to information within federal agencies. Govplace, as a CTA partner with ManTech Corporation, will provide tools, technologies and engineering expertise that will support objectives for privileged access management driven by the 2015 Cyber Sprint and the White House’s Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan (CSIP) to combat cyber threats.
